Tax Policy
Items sold by Mega Retail Store, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the following states are subject to tax: California New York Massachusetts Tennessee How Sales Tax is Calculated If an item is subject to sales tax in the state to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item. The amount of tax charged on your order will depend upon many factors including Identity of the seller, type of item purchased, and destination of the shipment. Factors can change between the time you place an order and the time of credit card charge authorization, which could affect the calculation of sales taxes. The amount appearing on your order as Estimated Tax may differ from the sales taxes ultimately charged.
HOW WILL MY ORDER SHIP? Most items ship USPS or FedEx depending on the size and weight of the item. If your item is big, your item will ship with a freight carrier that specializes in shipping heavy and bulky items. To learn more read below. SHIPPING METHODS Mega Retail Store is not responsible for any shipping delays due to Credit & Fraud Authorizations, weather delays, natural disasters, incorrect shipping addresses, incomplete information, etc. Mega Retail Store reserves the right to refuse any order or shipping method for any reason, there are no shipping refunds once the item(s) has been processed & shipped out. Standard Shipping Small items ship with USPS or FedEx. We do not require a signature for deliveries, but the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the carrier’s discretion. We cannot accommodate orders to post office boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Return Policy Mega Retail Store accepts returns up to 30 days from original delivery date. Any returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and original condition. If the product is not in the original packaging when returned a 50% re-stocking fee will be applied. Unless our company is in error or the listing is in error, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs, the original shipping costs, and a 15% restocking fee. Defective equipment: We apologize if you received an item that is not working but all warranty issues must be referred back to the original manufacturer for support. We will do our very best to make sure the issue is resolved through the OEM (original equipment manufacturer). Defective Returns: If for any reason the defective item is returned to Mega Retail Store the defective product will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. The customer will be responsible for return shipping and original shipping costs. If the defective product is not in the original packaging when returned the product will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Non-Defective returns: If the item needs to be returned and is not damaged or defective and still in the original sealed box please contact us for a RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number). All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and original shipping costs. If the non-defective product is not in the original packaging when returned the product will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Refunds: Once product is returned, inspected and complies with the Mega Retail Store Return Policy a refund will be processed within 24 hours.
